Tengr.ai’s New Design: A Simple User Guide

With the release of the 1.0 version, Tengr.ai also got a fresh new look! If you’ve been using our platform for a while, you’ve probably already figured out the changes. And if you’re new at Tengr.ai, this guide will walk you through the basics so you can start generating stunning images much more easily.

Tengr.ai’s new design is the result of our commitment to creating the best user experience for Image AI. The journey started with version 0.6, our first alpha release in April 2023. After many updates, hours of user experience testing, and design improvements, we finally launched Tengr.ai 1.0. But we certainly didn’t stop there. Since then, we’ve released versions 1.1 and 1.1.1, constantly improving the platform. Based on real user feedback, we’ve made it even easier to use and more intuitive.

So, if you’re new or just getting used to the updated design, this guide will help you easily explore everything.

The Homepage – Where Everything Begins

The first thing you’ll notice is the updated homepage layout. It’s cleaner, more polished, and organized, and it puts the most important tools right at your fingertips. Here’s what you’ll find here:

• Sidebar/Left Menu Bar – This is your go-to place for navigation. Here, you’ll find a list of generation options on the left side (Dashboard, Work History, Text to Image, Image to Image, Detailer Upscaler, Face Swap, and Quantum. Plus, there is a Pricing page, Support, Profile settings, and the Log out option.
  

• Quick Start Menu – The fastest way to start generating images is from the Quick Start tiles. Here, you’ll find the different generation options and modes, such as the new Quantum Mode and Face Refiner, Transparent Generation, Text to Image, Image to Image, Detailer Upscaler, and Face Swap. You can just click on one of the tiles and start generating right away.
• Work History – If you scroll down, you’ll see your latest generated images. At the top right corner of this section, you’ll find the ‘See all‘ button, where you can browse and search through all your artwork. Each image includes a Delete icon, the generation mode, and the creation date. Plus, if you hover over an image, the prompt appears as well, making it easier to find exactly what you need.
• Tutorials and Resources – Right below the Work History, there is a section for the latest news and blog posts from our blog. Here, if you click on one of the images, it will take you to that specific blog post. Alternatively, you can click on ‘Read all‘, and this will take you to our blog page, where you can find many useful tips and tricks and prompts for inspiration. It’s the easiest way to access the latest Tengr.ai updates and tutorials.
• Need some inspiration? – Further down, you’ll come across a section with images for inspiration, created with Tengr.ai.
• Social Media Links – At the bottom of the Homepage, you’ll find our social media links, where you can find even more inspiration.

Image Generation – How to Start

Tengr.ai makes it effortless to create stunning images. It also offers powerful settings and post-processing options, giving you endless ways to craft something truly unique.

To get started, head to the Homepage and select a generation mode from the Quick Start menu tiles or from the Sidebar. Each mode serves a different purpose, so let’s take a look at what they do:

• Quantum – A new, game-changing way to generate images with enhanced prompt fidelity and refined aesthetics. This mode comes with seven dedicated styles, each with its own specific look: Default, Portraiture, Photographer, Film, Retro, Film-Noir, and Dark. All you have to do here is write your prompt, choose one of the seven styles, set the aspect ratio, and press ‘Generate’. Afterwards, if you want to go back to the Homepage, there is a ‘Home’ button at the top left corner.

• Face Refiner – Our latest Image Processing mode helps fix flaws and distortions in AI-generated images. But that’s not all. It can also enhance the realism in already great AI portraits as well. It removes that AI plasticky look, making faces more natural and lifelike. You just need to upload the image you want to refine, adjust the Modification level, and ‘Generate’. • Transparent Generation – It lets you effortlessly generate images with transparent backgrounds. No more struggling to remove the background of your images later. This makes it much easier to use your AI-generated images in different types of projects, whether it’s graphic design, web content, or prints. • Text to Image – This generation mode gives you everything you need to create stunning images. With 26 styles to choose from (including Transparent), plus the Aspect Ratio selector, Creativity settings (Creativity and Details levels), Camera Angle selector, and Color Tones, you have a great level of creative freedom.
  The new dynamic prompt field keeps the interface clean by staying as a single line when unfocused. It automatically expands as you start typing. This makes everything more organized and clutter-free.
  The Negative Prompt Toggle now has a clear tooltip, making it easier to show or hide the field with one click.
  And right next to the ‘Generate‘ button, you’ll find the Seer/Servitor generation mode selector:
  Seer Mode – Adds more AI interpretation, leading to creative surprises.
  Servitor Mode – Generates images with stronger prompt adherence for precise results.

• Image to Image – This is where it all gets really interesting. These image-to-image processing modes are your best tools if you want to create something unique.
  Tengr.ai’s image-to-image option lets you enhance or completely transform your AI images with various processing modes. You can turn sketches into realistic depictions, restore old photos, add depth, or refine details; there’s something for every creative need. There are options like Sketch, 3D Sculpting, Creative, Depth, Blueprint, Human-Pose, Rejuvenate, ScenaNova, and Face Refiner to choose from.
  With the ‘Modification’ setting, you can even control how much you want the uploaded image to be changed.
  Just upload an image, choose a mode, adjust the settings, and let Tengr.ai do the rest. Learn more about each of these processing modes from our detailed guide.
  For an even smoother workflow, you can instantly send any generated image to Image Processing Mode using the ‘Send to’ option at the bottom of each image.

• Detailer Upscaler – This feature lets you enhance the clarity and sharpness of your AI-generated images with just a few clicks. So, if you’re looking to make your image sharper, enhance tiny details, or fix some blurriness, this is the right tool for you.
  You can choose between 2x or 4x upscaling and adjust the modification level from Very Subtle to Extremely based on how much enhancement you want. The before/after slider makes it easy to see the improvements. You can instantly refine any newly generated image without needing to re-upload, with the ‘Send to Detailer Upscaler’ option at the bottom of any image. • Face Swap – This amazing tool lets you seamlessly swap faces in any image, as long as there is a recognizable human face on it. This opens up so many creative possibilities from marketing materials to other creative projects, plus it’s really easy to use.
  Simply upload a source image where you want to replace the face and a target image with the face you want to use for the swap. Choose a modification level (from Very Subtle to Extremely) and have fun. ‘Normally’ is the recommended level and what usually works best. The intuitive ‘Send to Face Swap’ option at the bottom of the images allows you to edit newly generated images instantly. Learn how to use it from this tutorial.

Your Profile and Credits

Tengr.ai now runs on a credit-based system, where each type of generation mode costs a specific number of credits. You can find the subscription plans and the cost of all features on the Pricing page in the lower-left corner of the Homepage.
Recently, the Free Plan has changed: instead of refresh credits, users now receive 50 permanent credits upon first login. Plus, we’ve introduced a new Basic Plan, an affordable option for those who want more creative freedom.

A little further down, you’ll find the Profile settings, where you can check your subscription plan, view your remaining credit balance (also visible at the top of the homepage), and manage various Tengr.ai profile settings. Plus, this is where you’ll find the Log Out option.
