Quantum 3.0: Now with Max and Lite Options

Quantum Mode has always delivered beautiful results, but now it’s been upgraded into two distinct choices for different needs. Each generates one image at a time, tailored to how you prefer to create:

  • Quantum Lite: Perfect when you’re after quick, beautiful, and prompt-faithful images. It’s fast, reliable, and ideal for spontaneous inspiration or trying out ideas in real time.

  • Quantum Max: Yes, it takes longer, but trust me, it’s worth the wait. Max takes a deeper approach to every detail of your prompt, creating richer, more complex visuals with stunning clarity and texture. It creates more polished and realistic facial features, with extra attention to fine details. This is the mode you’ll want when you want to truly impress, or simply bring your imagination to life in the most refined way possible. It requires a longer processing time but produces more polished and sophisticated results.

Note: Max mode is available for Economic and Pro plans. If you’re on the Free or Basic plan, you’ll still have access to Lite, which is fast, stunning, and impressively accurate.

Either way, whichever you choose will give you focused, high-quality results for sure.

Your Favorite Styles, Now in Quantum!

Both Max and Lite now include all 26 beloved artistic styles from Text to Image mode, plus the Transparent style, and one more: the brand-new Folktale style, available exclusively in Quantum 3.0. This means that whether you prefer photorealistic images, digital paintings, watercolor, line art, or anime/manga style visuals, you will find the perfect style for your taste in the upgraded Quantum.

Quantum 3.0 gives you the full playground of styles to get your creativity going.

To show you how different styles affect the outcome, I used the same prompt across several styles. It’s a great way to see how each style brings its own mood, texture, and vibe to the table.

Prompt used: “A girl with advection flow hair, shimmer, and quantum particles flowing.

And now let’s see how this prompt plays out in multiple styles:

And these are just a few of the styles. There’s plenty more to explore. Plus, there’s our brand-new style, Folktale. It doesn’t aim for realism; it creates charming, storybook-style illustrations inspired by traditional motifs. Ideal for when you want something soft, whimsical, and artistic. It’s perfect for those artistic concepts that call for a more illustrative approach.

With the help of the Fairytale and Folktale styles, you can now create your own illustrated storybook if you want.

Tip: To really see what each style can do, try shorter, simpler prompts. Overly complex ones might overpower the style’s distinct look. For complex prompts, the Default style is your best choice.

How to Choose Between Lite and Max?

The decision between Lite and Max depends on your current project needs. If you’re wondering which mode suits your workflow better, here’s the breakdown:

  • Quantum Lite: Perfect for quick brainstorming sessions, exploring visual concepts quickly, or testing ideas. Or simply for getting a stunning image fast. It’s fast, prompt-accurate, and consistently delivers gorgeous results.
  • Quantum Max: Use this for projects where visual impact really counts. When you want powerful images that don’t just look good, but feel deep and powerful. The details, textures, colors, and depth it adds are truly next-level. It’s the go-to choice when you need visuals that speak for themselves.

To sum up: If you want a simply stunning image quickly, and with maximum prompt accuracy, Lite mode is the way to go. But if you want those small, meaningful details that make your image really stand out, the kind that give more depth, complexity, and realistic texture to your image, then Max mode is absolutely worth the extra time. It will give you that impact you’re looking for.

Honestly? You’ll probably end up loving both for different reasons. Both are incredible; they each excel in different moments of your creative process.

And to help you get the best results with Quantum, here are some easy, practical tips:

  • If you get unwanted elements in your image (like six fingers or odd artifacts), try using the negative prompt field. It works just like in Text-to-Image and helps filter out anything you don’t want to see in your image.
  • Want a full-body character? Make sure to select a vertical aspect ratio (like 2:3 or 9:16); otherwise, parts of the figure might get cropped.

A Few Examples

Next, I’ll show you a couple of side-by-side comparisons, too, so you can really see what Lite and Max can do, and the difference between them:

Lite gives you a stunning image fast. Max gives you something deeper, richer, and more detailed.

Let’s see some cyberpunk-style image comparisons as well:

The Quantum Experience You Deserve

At Tengr.ai, we’ve worked hard to give you tools that fit your creative style and ambitions. Now you don’t have to choose between speed and detail; Quantum 3.0 lets you have both.

Whether you need speed, or rather detail, and perfection, simple concepts, or complex compositions, Quantum 3.0 now adapts to you.

All you have to do now is jump into Quantum Mode, see what Lite and Max can do, fall in love with Folktale, and most importantly, have fun creating something amazing. And when you make something that makes you do a little happy dance, don’t forget to share it with us on social media. Seriously, your creations are what make this whole thing worthwhile.

  1. I appreciate the dual-mode approach with Max and Lite—it’s great to see tools that acknowledge both the need for speed and the desire for depth depending on the creative flow. It really mirrors how different stages of a project call for different types of output.

    1. Thank you! That’s exactly what we had in mind with Max and Lite. Really glad to hear it’s working well for you! We always appreciate hearing feedback from our users.

  2. Quantum 3.0 Light is a very notable advance from the previous version and it is now light years ahead of regular text-to-image, especially with all those style presets also available. I just don’t get the pricing policy for Quantum Max. Make it cost more credits, but do open it up the all tiers.
