- Accessing Face Swap: Click on the Face Swap icon on the homepage or in the header. Additionally, you can click on ‘Send to Face Swap‘ on the bottom of an image after generating. It’s pretty straightforward and easy to find and to use.
- Upload Images: The next step is to upload the two images you’re planning to use: the Source image and the Target image. If you used the ‘Send to Face Swap‘, then you already have your target image. That’s what you’re working with. Additionally, if you want to switch your source and target image, there is a ‘Click to switch images‘ option as well. This will switch the two images, making the source image the target and vice versa.
- Select Modification Level: There are currently 5 modification levels that you can choose from, ranging from ‘Very Subtle‘ to ‘Extremely‘. Remember that this question: ‘How strongly should this be modified?‘ refers to the target image. We found that ‘Subtle’ and ‘Normally’ usually work perfectly. ‘Extremely’ level can sometimes be too harsh, making the face not so seamlessly blended.
- Generate: Finally, all you have to do is press ‘Generate’ and wait for Tengr.ai to do its magic. If you’re not completely satisfied with the result, experiment with other modification levels.
To visually demonstrate the different levels of modifications, we chose a source and a target image of different skin tones. This is so you can see how different levels transform the target image and how they blend the two faces. You’ll notice that the ‘Extremely’ level altered the skin tone the most.
