We’ve been brewing something exciting, and it’s finally here! We’re pleased to announce Tengr.ai version 0.8.6, packed with powerful new features and significant improvements—including our game-changing Face Swap feature!
We’ve made Depth processing mode more efficient, improved Seer prompt mode accuracy, introduced the all-new Face Swap feature for our Pro users, and added custom aspect ratio generation to give you even more creative control and enhance your overall experience. Additionally, we’ve introduced the B2B API, providing business users with enhanced tools for managing their projects and API keys. Read on for all the details!
New Features & Enhancements
- Face Swap Feature: The highlight of this release is the brand-new Face Swap tool for Pro users. This enables you to seamlessly transfer a face from one photo to another. Plus, it’s easily accessible directly from the homepage or via the new header icon. It allows you to upload two images—a source image (with the face you want to use) and a target image (where you want the face applied).
Important to note: For the tool to work properly, each photo must contain only one face. Images with no faces or multiple faces will trigger an error.
- Enhanced Depth Processing Mode: This update boosts the performance of our Depth processing mode. As a result, it delivers better results in complex scenes involving fine details, transparent objects, and reflections.
- Improved Seer Prompt Mode: We’ve enhanced our Seer prompt mode to provide greater accuracy in following your prompts. As a result, this ensures a more faithful translation of prompts into images.
- Custom Aspect Ratio Support: Users can now generate images in any aspect ratio. So, if you’ve ever wanted to break free from predefined ratios and experiment with unique dimensions, this feature is perfect for you! However, we still recommend using the predefined aspect ratios for faster processing and higher quality. Keep in mind that custom aspect ratios may take longer to process, and image quality may vary.
- Change Password Section: We’ve added a Change Password section to the profile page. This makes it easier for users to update their account security settings quickly and conveniently.
- B2B API Features: We’re excited to introduce Tengr.ai API for business users:
- Business user profiles have been upgraded with API key and API key usage sections.
- Business profiles now support the management of up to 3 API keys, enabling smoother key rotation and easier management.
- We’ve added API Key Usage Logs page, allowing business users to track and monitor API key activities directly from their profile.
- We’ve included a dedicated API Documentation page accessible from the business profile, providing easy access to the latest API docs to supercharge your projects.

Bug Fixes & Improvements
- Performance Optimizations: We’ve improved performance with faster image generation for large images, reducing processing time by ~3-4 seconds.
- Subscription Customer Duplication Issue: We’ve fixed an issue that caused customer records to duplicate across separate subscriptions, ensuring cleaner and more accurate customer management.
- Improved Image Upload Handling: We’ve optimized the handling of image uploads, ensuring smoother processing for larger files.
- Navigation & Prompt Handling Fixes: We’ve resolved a navigation issue where switching pages too quickly (before the server response) caused problems with artwork generation. Additionally, prompts and other parameters now reset to default correctly when generating from existing artwork.
- Profile Page Enhancements: If a user’s avatar image is missing, we now display a monogram. We’ve also fixed profile name display issues for better clarity.
- Toast Notification Light Theme: We’ve added a light theme for toast notifications, improving visibility in bright UI environments.
- Home Page Layout Adjustment: We’ve improved the user interface by adjusting the prompt textarea size for easier use and standardized the padding values on the home page for a more polished, organized layout.
- Fixed Layout Issue on Different Devices: We’ve improved the page layout to ensure better responsiveness across all devices.
